Momineen.com is not a political website; however, due to nature of some events in the world, many would like to know what is happening around them. Therefore, we from time to time publish articles of light political nature.
Momineen.com has a large number of readers and subscribers that range in thousands. We try to connect to them on a regular basis. The most favorite with our readers is our monthly Newsletter. In these Newsletters, we forecast the date and time of moon sighting in major cities of the world to notify people in advance to prepare them for such sighting.
Why in Islam the sighting of moon important over simple birth? We try answering that question by actually looking into the physical effects between birth and sighting. We are convinced that difference between new moon (the scientific birth) and the actual birth (after sighting) is same as between conception and delivery of a child and birth of a child.
We are trying to generate report on relationships between events that took place in a particular birth of moon. So far, we have interesting facts before us and we will hopefully compile and publish those here.
