Ashura: A day of grief (10th of Muharram)
The Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) said: O' Fatimah! Every eye shall be weeping on the Day of Judgment, except the eye which has shed tears over the tragedy of Hussain (A.S.), for surely, that eye shall be smiling, and, shall be given the glad tidings of the bounties, and comforts of Paradise. (Bihar al-Anwar, vol, 44, page:293)
Alongwith, Allah and his Prophets, Shia believe in infallible Imams. Shiite (the faith) and Shia (the true followers) are under constant guidance by the 12th Imam (AS). Our Grand Ayatullahs get direct and indirect instructions from him (A.S). That keeps Shia faith on straight path, described in Quran as "Siraat-al-Mustaqeem".
"Shiite is where soul transits through matter, crossing the boundaries of time; even before the creation of the man, when them was between mud and water, and beyond the end of this life. It then maintains the balance and harmony within and outside." (Momineen.com)

Your sickness is within you, though you do not realize,
And your cure is within, yet you do not see.
You claim that you are nothing but a tiny entity,
Yet wrapped up inside of you is the greatest universe.
You are the clear book, through whose letters
All that is secret is revealed and made known.
So you have no need for anything outside of you,
Your consciousness is within you, though you do not know.

إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيثًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَاتٍ بِأَمْرِهِ أَلاَ لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالأَمْرُ تَبَارَكَ اللّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority): He draweth the night as a veil over the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His command. Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds! 7:54
